Tolkien and the Study of His Sources ist eine von Jason Fisher 2011 herausgegebene Sammlung von Aufsätzen verschiedener Autoren zur Erforschung der Quellen, aus denen J. R. R. Tolkien Inspiration für seine Werke schöpfte.[2] Das Buch war in den Jahren 2012 und 2013 für den Mythopoeic Scholarship Award in Inklings Studies der Mythopoeic Society nominiert.[3] Es enthält einige Zitate aus bis dahin unveröffentlichten Briefen und Vorlesungsunterlagen Tolkiens.[4]
